So, it seems so cheesy that we would get excited over this-- but it feels pretty awesome having our own back yard. We've only lived in apartments where we had a dinky, dirty patio with zero privacy. I never wanted to open our blinds because I felt like the whole complex was snooping in our business, possibly trying to find sweet goods to snatch in the night.
& Since we've moved into our new house I haven't gotten to do all of the decorating I've wanted... due to lack of funds... So one of my favorite things to do every morning is eat breakfast and look out the back windows at our yard. Even though it isn't the biggest, and the grass gets overgrown basically in 2 - 3 days, I still love the view.
