Last weekend I had a nice little getaway to SV to see my parentals + fam.

I also got to see my old roomies from college, and many familiar faces and friends at a bridal shower!

I'm so thankful for the MUCH needed time off of work.  I've been drowning in Mother's Day orders from my family tree shop this month and really needed the break. 

My mom & I got pedicures Monday which was a lovely time. 

(lovely while trying to ignore the fact that a strange Asian man is rubbing your sausages)

When I got back home Clay counted his tip money and felt like a baller (pictured above).  So he took us out for ice cream. This ice cream date turned into an extravaganza.  I got a waffle cone at Mrs. Fields, but soon after he decided he should get us some Arby's roast beef sandwiches {which I would never turn down}.  After Arby's, Clay still had a sweet tooth so he insisted that we go to a little frozen yogurt shop nearby.  I agreed, only because there was a Nico's Taco Shop right next to the frozen yogurt place.  So, a massive bowl of 5 different yogurts, and a shredded beef taco later, we were fully satisfied.

The only downfall of the weekend was when we went to go get gas we ran over an enormous screw.  In the past 6 months we've had 5 flat tires, a stolen truck, and a broken car window naturally followed by a stolen ipod. We officially welcome flat tires and thieves.
