Weekend Warriors

I haven't taken pictures in forever!  but here's what's been going on in COW's life.

Conference weekend 

Clay's parents came for a lovely visit Sunday afternoon (on their anniversary)!  We talked, hung out and ate a delicious dinner that Rhonda prepared for us that looked and tasted as good as this random picture of a pot roast dinner looks and probably tasted.

Easter weekend
these twins came for a visit.

Clay got to have some manly time with his bffs.  Anyone want to guess what they did? You are right! they played video games. haha, but they were nice and hung out with me too.  We watched some good Lost episodes, ate my very first roast dinner (.. the first one I made by myself-- thanks to my MIL Rhonda's instruction of course), and finished off the weekend with one of my favorite games... SCRABBLE SLAM. boo ya

every weekend

Clay and I both have callings now. He teaches the 15 yr old boys every week and I teach Valiant 11 in primary.  We spend our Saturday nights..and sometimes mornings (12 - 2 a.m.) preparing lessons ... I mean.. we prepare them a little each day until sunday arrives ;)

Last weekend

I drove to Sierra Vista for my sister Erin's baby shower.  I didn't get to take any good pictures... and I left my camera in SV so I have zero for this blog.  But we had a great turn out... our little house was overflowing with a zillion women.  We ate pizza, pasta salad, marshmellow treats, cake pops, strawberries & a few other small treats. The food did arrive a little late... (if either my mom or I have something we need to be on time for, you can GUARANTEE we'll be late. In this case my mom and I were the hostesses ... so what do you expect?).

this weekend

We're heading up to Vegas for my cousin Amber's wedding! We're excited. And I'll get to spend all day Mother's day with my madre... driving home from vegas. woohooo
